Why do stores discriminate against cats?
I asked my mom if she could get Iams kitten food at Costco... but turns out they only carry 2 brands of cat food. Yet they carry all the brands for dogs. In Target there are three aisles for dogs and half an aisle for cats. Even petco had a teeny tiny cat section and 3/4 of the store is for dogs. Whats the deal??

i dont know, but i agree theres way more dog things in stores...
however, not sure if you know this, but Iams performs unethicval cruel animal testing resulting in toonnnnnnnns of deaths.

I don't know, it always annoys me too, it is catism  There is a great store somewhere in Islip I think called Cattitudes and it is just for kitties, we went there once a few years ago and bought loads of stuff. But you're right it isn't fair.

ugh, are you kidding me.
I just switched Bella and Lexi to Eukanuba (manuf. by Iams) and they friggin love it. Time to try yet ANOTHER brand!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know - I never noticed it, but now that you bring it up... That's true!
Maybe its because there is a finite size limit for cats - and dogs come it so many different sizes that people need a larger variety of beds, bowls and whatnot...
