Why do people think its their business how much weight you have gained?

I know some people are totally cool with sharing their weight, and that's fine, I am not. I thought I made it clear my first pregnancy, but I guess not, bc I am still fielding the same question from the same people. For me its not so much the number---its the responses i can't stand, its either never enough or way too much weight

UGH! I hate it when people ask me that! I try and give them some vague answer depending on who it is and my mood. Sometimes I say "the right amount" sometimes, "probably too much." Can't people just keep lying and telling me how great I look?

People ask me this all of the time! I find it incredibly rude but DH thinks I am being uptight.
Only my mom & DH know how much I really gained. I tell all of the others that ask that I don't keep track.. whether they believe me or not, I don't care.

I was really surprised when one of my coworkers asked me I gained 21 pounds my first pregnancy, but I just thought it was wierd she was asking. I had to stop and calculate bc I hadn't really thought about it.
