why do BTDT moms insist
on giving me every gory detail of birthing???
did i really need to hear that you tore your arsehole and felt like your butt was going to explode or how "you'll never have feeling there if you get a c-section...its completely numb now"??? just sayin'
birthing is no picnic...i get it...but can i have my own damn experience before being traumatized by yours?

its true, but I liked the gritty details so I knew what I was in for and there were no surprises, LOL. Im not going to lie, Ive been that BTDT mom now.

lol see i don't mind the advice sometimes...most of it ive all heard before. but being that i work in retail...i hear comments and advice ALL DAY. like literally every customer says the same thing to me "you look like ur ready to pop"... etc...
but this one lady today...i swear i think she was TRYING to scare the bejeezus out of me. she just kept rattling off all like the most awful scenarios you could think up lol

OK, thats weird....Ive never shared anything about my birth with complete strangers - I meant like my girlfriends or sister. Had random people started coming up to me and telling me the details about birth, I would be  too!

I'm that person who shares when asked or talking about child birth and I usually scare people because my story was awful. But I really wish I would have been forwarded on certain. Things I had to learn ( like the numbness thing totally wish I would have had a heads up you can totally stick me with a fork between my belly button and scar and I'd have no clue lol) but usually people who I share with or who are sharing with me aren't downright strangers now that's just weird lol

I share when people ask but I would never just go up to a complete stranger and do that. Thats weird that people have done that to you. I do like talking about my experience because it was basically a failed induction ending up in a csection and if someone has questions about that, I dont mind answering and giving advice since it wasnt such a horrible experience that some people assume c sections are.

Seriously I was sitting relaxing getting a pedicure one day and was next to a girl who gave me the details of her traumatic birth.... Thanks
But in any event, I would be happy to share my experience with you anytime! It was very positive ... No worries

I have to say that everything people told be about pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum is false!!!!!! Everyone has a different experience. Half of the things I was worried about was just stupid. I never pooped on the table, sex still does feel the same, everything looks pretty much the same down there (sorry tmi), and my body which everyone said would never look the same doesn't look that much different!!!!!!!!!!!!! Childbirth actually wasn't that gory and there wasn't as much blood as I expected! The pain was as bad as people described, unfortunately! But that was the only thing.
Don't listen to anyone!!!!!! It will make you crazy and you'll find half of those "stories" were false anyway.

Lol sorry.
I had the same complaint before I had DD, and once she was born I kept thinking, "Dammit. Why didn't someone tell me about XYZ?!?"
