Why can't there be affordable airfares???
I LOVED my Ding specials (Southwest), but even on that there are no real deals anymore. It's just so expensive to fly with a family of 4 nowadays. It's not fair.

Have you done a search on www.kayak.com? I always find the lowest rates there.

I was going to suggest this as well. DH uses this frequently and has saved a decent amount of money.
