whole milk allergy/lactose intolerance question

Have any of you had issues where your LO ate cheese, milk, butter, etc. and threw up afterwards? If so, did they have a milk allergy?

13 month old DD has being fine with yogurt, but the last 3 days she has thrown up about an hour after eating dairy. Today, she had a grilled cheese sandwich and vomited up basically the whole sandwich at the park an hour later. Yesterday, she had some toast with butter and threw up about an hour and a half later, and the day before that was also toast with butter with vomit to follow.

She was on alimentum until 12 months, switched to whole milk and would be wheezing, vomiting nonstop, etc. I switched her to lactaid and she's been fine, but I occasionally see little red bumps on her back and shoulders but assumed it was a heat rash. She tested negative for a milk allergy when she went for bloodwork.

She is teething right now, so I am not sure if this is all just a coincidence and she is just throwing up from drooling? She has a sensitive gag reflex.

It could be that she's allergic to milk/ dairy. My son was on EVERYTHING I breasted for as long as I could, I ate dairy, he was sick within the hour. Because I had 2 and just couldn't keep up and was supplementing anyway, the doctor decided to take him off the supplements formula and breast milk and try alimentum (didn't recommend the supplementing with alimentum) my son was sick for almost 2.5 months on alimentum. He was prescribed elecare but couldn't completely phase it in as he was vomiting that too so it was a cocktail of alimentum and elecare. On the alimentum he had bloody stool about 4-5 x with tons of mucus daily. My poor son was so sick. He's on elecare now at almost 8 months. We are taking him for allergy testing Thursday as there's something else affecting him. My son has the red spots that your daughter has likely (fm me for my number and I'll send you the photo to compare. We were given the ok to give some dairy to introduce solids and he's been having hives and vomiting g. I can't get the hives to go away so he's on Benadryl. We've had no solids and only the elecare bottles for a few days so his system clears out. Ive been to 4-5 doctors apts in under a week .hes also sick with a cold and ear infection and teething like a mother. Thank god his twin has been relatively good this week or else I'd be in a nut house. Try taking her for allergy testing to see what she is allergic to.

maybe? idk... she eats alot at times, but yesterday when she threw up she didn't really eat much. She's been pushing food away a bit the last few days because her teeth are bothering her.

She was on alimentum until 12 months and was fine on it, but since I've taken her off she's been having some tummy troubles for sure

Hmm it seems odd that it would be due to the dairy if she tested negative. Could she just have a bug?

Maybe it's a bug since its just a few days. I would give her a few days before trying again. It could be an intolerance but not an allergy if the lactaid helped. Dd had a whey allergy but the blood test only showed a very slight allergy bc they only tested boiled milk. Whey is only an issue in uncooked dairy so the test wasn't very helpful. Dr could eat yogurt or cooked cheese but got hives from uncooked milk or cheese.
