Whole Foods...
Like it or not?
I found a store in Raleigh and I went there last night....Absolutely love it, but so friggin expensive!!

Love it but so expensive! Was there on Sunday stocking up on whole grains and good-for-you food ... but man my wallet hurt after that!

I have never shopped there before but have seen them in the city. I am really excited about the new one opening up where Sports Plus used to be near the Smithaven Mall!!!!!!!!

Love it. Shop there all the time. We hardly ever do ALL of our grocery shopping there, because it ends up costing a fortune, but they carry a lot of stuff that other stores don't, so we go for those specific items. Their generic brand (365) is actually pretty reasonable, as well. It's a great place to get organic & grain fed meats, eggs & cheeses (the only kind we'll buy), plus LOTS of great stuff for vegans (like me!).
ETA: We do the rest of our shopping at Trader Joe's (great prices and tons of great private label stuff that you can't find elsewhere)

I love it but just like everyone said...its friggin EXPENSIVE! But they carry things that other supermarkets don't, such as certain organic foods, produce, beverages and baked goods, so I get them from there and then do my regular shopping on FreshDirect.com.

Me and DH call it Whole Paycheck. We love the food though. We will just get dinner from there sometimes instead of going out...YUMMY!!! Someone mentioned Trader Joes, have you tried the Mandarin Chicken, to die for. We love it, better than going out for chinese food.

Their prepared food section is AMAZING. I work right near a WF and we'll go there for lunch sometimes - salad bar, hot foods, sushi, soup, international bar - they have everything and it's so tasty and not too pricey.
