Whoa! 22 days to go and the baby is already 8 pounds!
I had a sono on Thursday and the baby is measuring 8 lbs. I saw the doctor today and if I don't go into labor in the next two weeks I'll have to have another sono to check the weight and if the baby is bigger I'll have to go for a c-section! Yikes!

My baby was 7 pounds 7 ounces about 2 weeks ago...according to the sonogram. The tech said that the weight could be off by a pound.

I wouldnt go by that. The day I went into the hospital I had a sono at my Dr.s office and was told my baby was close to 9lbs. When I got to the hospital I was told my baby was about 7lbs. My Son was only 6lbs 15oz

When my boos was having her daugher, the dr told her the baby was almost 9 pounds...she was born 6lb7oz....

DON'T FREAK OUT!!! My brother had a baby a few weeks ago and the drs told my SIL the baby was about 8 (about 2 weeks before due date). They induced her 5 days after due date b/c they thought the baby was getting too big..........in the hopsital they said the baby was about 9lbs so they gave her a c-section......the baby was 7lbs 11oz

Wow! You'd think they could be more accurate.
Big babies run in my family anyway. I have one cousin that had an 11 lb baby and a 13 lb baby!
