whoa - internals, progress and blood pressure

ok so i am 37 weeks 3 days and i just had my third internal. first of all, it REALLY makes a difference who performs it. the first two times it was female doctors. first hurt the least, second hurt a bit more but today....whoa! it was a male doc i have never seen before and it HURT...almost felt like he put his whole fist in there! the good news is, my blood pressure was back to normal after being high on tuesday. i had to do the 24 hour urine test yesterday so we are still waiting on those results. he said i am 1-2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. if i do show signs of pre-eclampsia based on the urine test (which they were thinking bc of the high BP, swelling and weight gain) he said we MIGHT induce next week. but in my heart i dont feel i have preeclampsia, and i really dont want to be induced. but YAY to being dilated and effaced!! so exciting!!!

That's great about your BP!!

And with already being 1-2cm and 70% effaced, and having had another internal, here's hoping you won't need to be induced anyway!!!!
