Who wants to guess....
How many hours, days, weeks, months... it will take DH to notice that towel that was our bathroom window curtain is now gone and I put the new shade up that's been sitting against the wall in the bathroom for the past 2 months?
He's so oblivious to things like this, it's amazing!

So I was sitting here thinking..."My DH is pretty good with that stuff. I guess I'm lucky."
Not 30 seconds later does he ask me how to run the pre-wash cycle on the dishwasher.
We've had that dishwasher for 4 years!!!
So I have a sudden empathy for you!!

BTW the window is right next to the toilet!

At least yours acknowledges that you have a dishwasher. Ours is right next to the sink. I think he thinks it's for clean dish storage because he's never put a dirty plate or silverware in it & he's never taken a clean item out.

Well, I kind of had a preggo "I can't handle doing everything by myself" breakdown/freak out.
Now everything is straightened and cleaned.
Had I known, I would have gone psycho chick earlier!!

I give it 3 months, I put our XMas tree up and DH walked by it like 4 times and then say "Jenn when did WE do that" Dumba$$. They jut dont observe things like we do.

I think I'm going to have to agree with you!!!!! DH is JUST like that, incorporating the WE when something gets done in the house.
But to give the devil his due, the other night he did put the dishes in the sink into the dishwasher AND turned it on. He was just too lazy to empty the clean dishes first so he washed them again.
