who takes tylenol??

do you take tylenol when you have a HUGE geadache or do you abstain from all medicine when you are pregnant?

I have a POUNDING headache and I am too nervous to take anything

I take Tylenol when I can't get rid of a headache. I just try not to take it too often. OB said it was fine.

Tylenol is the only thing you can take but it does nothing for my headaches

Sure I've taken it. I got a migraine or two while pregnant and would have to take it every 4 hours because I couldn't suffer with the migraine pain.

Oh, and I only take the Xtra Strength kind. My doc said it was perfectly fine.

I almost never took tylenol before I was pg now I take it for my headaches and I find it works wonders. Tylenol is perfectly fine t take so I not going to suffer when I can find relief.

I have taken tylenol often in the second trimester and my doctor let me know it was just fine.

I used to take it. My Dr said that was ok even in the 1st trimester.

I try not to take anything.
Tylenol is the only thing you can take but just make sure is regular strength (325mg) and not the extra strength(500mg) when you take it. You should not take more than 1 tablet every 4 hours.

Even though I suffer from very bad headaches and migraines, I have stayed away - my doctor told me it was ok to take it though.

I tried for awhile not to take it, but now with these headaches in the 2nd trimester i do. Not ofter, and they very rarely help at all.

I was getting bad headaches mid way through my pregnancy and if I didnt take anything I found they only got worse and then I ended up throwing up (yuck). So I took Tylenol and it took the end off just enough that that I didnt get sick.

I saw my dr yesterday and she said I could still take Tylenol even now for headaches.

I do!!! I haven't actually needed it for headaches though. I've been sick a couple of times so far and used Tylenol to bring down fevers.

When I was preggo with my DD, my doctor said that I could only take tylenol for my headaches.

I was a migraine sufferer before getting PG, and thankfully my headaches have really subsided throughout my pregnancy (watch now that I said that, I'll get a migraine today)

my OB told me that Tylenol was perfectly safe throughout all my trimesters - luckily I think I've only had to take it maybe once or twice --

I take Tylenol when I get headaches too. I take 2 of the extra-strength (500mg each). It is fine. I don't wait until my headaches are unbearable. Pain is much easier to control if you catch it early. If you wait until it is out of control, you won't likely get much relief from anything, even narcotics -- which I was prescribed for my 1st trimester migraines. I tried to wait them out and once I took the codeine for them it was too late and it didn't work.

Take the Tylenol early to cut the pain before it gets too bad.

my doctor told me tylenol is safe. i was taking it alot in the beginning b/c of killer headaches but haven't taken any kind of medicine since around 4months. (I'm 32 weeks now)
