Who sells the best quality rugs for the money?
So we keep buying rugs that don't last...the latest one was a cream color with some green in it from Ballard Designs...we've had it about 2 years and it's just really showing dirt. It really kills me how much rugs are...I've been looking at places like Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware (I really like the ones at Restoration Hardware but they are $$$$)....is there a site that sells good quality rugs that don't feel the need to hike up the price because of their name? LOL...just hoping....I'm up for any suggestions!

Have you tried a local carpet store? Or even Bloomingdale's? They have a pretty big selection.
We have 2 from PB, one in our MBR and one in DD's room. Then we have 1 from Restoration on our Formal Living Room and have had no issues with it. It was a lot more $$ than PB, but I do have to say that its a lot softer, (does not shed) and still looks brand new after about 2 years.

try rugsdirect.com, Ive had good luck with them and honestly, my best rugs are from target.

I've been really happy with my Nourison and Safavieh rugs. I've purchased some from Rugs-Direct.com (or it might have been CSNRugs.com or RugsUSA.com...I can't recall.  )

I actually have one Safavieh that I found at Homegoods and so far, so good..I also got one on super clearance at BBB and it's also so far so good but I don't own them very long...check homegoods, though, you might find a gem...

i love mine from JCP and to me its thick and sturdy and ive had it a year now and it looks like new, (i dont have any kids yet and only have a cat- if that makes a difference)

Macy's in Bay Shore has a selection (not HUGE but ok) of carpets at discount prices. It's on the furniture floor all the way in the back. I got a fantastic Creme Shag carpet there which was $800 but after their discount, we paid only $270.
