Who is planning on taking off tomorrow??

If all the ice the weather people keep talking about does appear, I'm pretty sure I'm not treking into the city on the LIRR tomorrow.

well im hoping for a snow day! cuz i really dont wanna come in, but i wanna save my days, so ill be here unless the office closes, altho i have my level 2 tomorrow so im going to leave early anyways, but im just hoping my dr.'s apt is not cancelled!!!!!

I took off today because I have a dr's appt and I figured I could. If it's bad later today I'm just going to have my dr write the note for today and tomorrow. I'm not going to be a hero. It's going to be like a babysitting day at work so honestly it's not like I'd be missing anything important.

I am waiting to see what the storm actually does after midnight. If its all the ice they are predicting and the trains aren't running good then I will work from home. I came in today so that if tomorrow is worse I could stay home.

I'm hoping to work from home, but we don't always get that option.

We have personal/sick days that are use it or lose it, and we don't get paid for them while on FMLA, so if it's bad I'm not planning on leaving the house!

I'll try to make it- DH will hopefully drive me, but I am trying to bank as many days as possible for my maternity leave though

As long as LIRR is running, I'll go in. But I'm totally hoping the ice suspends service.

I actually got the delayed opening call around 7:45 pm. The last snow, they waited til 6 am to close school, so I felt that this was very early! I guess it will be bad! Stay safe mammas!!!!

I have to go to work. I used a number of my sick days and I'm at the new position for not even a month yet, and my office NEVER closes.

Me and DH are going to take a drive in the morning before I have to go to work to see how bad the roads are, and he may drive me to work.

I already called in. The last time I went in after a minor snowfall, they didn't even plow the parking lot, and I almost fell. SO, I'm staying home tomorrow! I am hoping for a snowday to be called though so I don't lose a sick day.

Still trying to decide. I'm going to attempt to drive in about 40 minutes earlier than usual, and I'm open to turning around and coming home if it's really bad.

I just looked out the window, though, and if I do want to leave 40 minutes early, I'll have to leave my house 40 minutes before THAT to get all the ice off my car.

we have a delayed start at 12. I'm leaving here @ 11, hopefully the ice is gone by then and it's all rain!

I am going to be staying in until my complex puts some salt down. I just watched a neighbor fall twice trying to get to her car. I am not going to take that chance. My work schedule today is flexible (just going in to do stock - i work retail) so I can make my own hours today. I will play it by ear.
