all you have to do is connect the hoses in the back to the water supply and plug it in. I really dont think you need to hire someone to do it. the directions are pretty easy

Really? I would find a way to mess it up,I am really good at that
we hired an electrician to install our new washer/dryer, and it was a friend but i think it would have been $200-250. Seems every house call is a minimum $125-150.

thats what i was gonna say, too... if you didn't get them yet, the place that delivers them might offer the option to install them, too... sometimes you have to pay a little more, but it might be worth it!

Are you replacing an existing washer that already has the plumbing and electric hook up in place, including the drain into the sewer or drywell or are you putting a washer into a location that has never had one before?
If the drain pipe, water input and electric are in place it's pretty simple to attach the hoses and plug it in. If you are putting one where none of the fittings exist you'll need a plumbing and electrical hook ups for it.

Our washer was installed by the delivery men (Best Buy). Our gas dryer had to be hooked up by our plumber, Best Buy wouldn't do it.
