Who can be in the room during a C-section?
I was wondering can only DH come on.. or is my mom allowed in too? I'm delivering at North Shore and will most likely have to have a C-section. Thanks so much

For my first I asked for my mom to be in there but she wasn't allowed bc it was a real emergency and half the hospital seemed to be in there. There were several soca for both me and the baby, so only DH as allowed in there. For my 2nd I didn't even think to ask if she could be in there, so I'm not sure. Ask your doc.

I had a scheduled c-section and only DH was allowed to be in the room, which was fine with me.

Thanks ladies, I was hoping my mom could come in as well.. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need a C so I guess she can't
