Does anyone belong to NYSC in the shopping center?

I was a member for awhile. I cancelled my membership about a year and a half ago because it was just too expensive.

I've joined GFC over in College Point - its a no frills gym, which is fine for the $ I paid.

However, I'm just not into going there to work out. I think its too no frills.

I hate that there are no classes, I hate that the machines are LITERALLY all on top of one another. I hate that there are more meatheads there than at Sports Club (didn't think that was possible as I thought they were all at Sports club when I was there...guess theres more meat heads in the neighborhood than we know )

Anyway, my question is how much are you paying monthly at sports club?

I was up to $75/month when I was a member. I was hoping to hear that maybe they dropped their prices a bit with all that is going on in the economy.

We looked into both and ruled out NYSC right away because that was insanely expensive for us. GFC was going to be decent and we only wanted it for 3 months anyway but we never went. It's a PITA getting in and out of that parking lot! And I didn't want to be the only female there b/c you're right...it's a LOT of gotti-wannabes there.

I'm still hoping to get gym equipment and storage in the basement Ahhh, rumors.
