I have never been but thinking of going next week with some friends and our kids. How is it? Does it smell awful?

Do they have a place for lunch?

White post farms

It is a little pricey (get coupons off their site or sign up for the emails) but it is really fun. You can feed the animals with pellets or baby milk bottles. There are pony rides and a little train. Also a bird sanctuary thing to go inside. I don't think it really smelled but the day we went it wasn't super hot. There is a big area to eat but mid-week there were lots of camps there. They also have a playground area that is big and fun. On the weekend they have a ton of shows and bounce houses etc.. As I said they nickle and dime you so it can be a little expensive but my 1 yr old DD had a lot of fun and we couldn't even do all of the stuff.

Re: White post farms

I love it there. I use coupons and it is worth it to me because my son has such a nice time. They have a lot of animals that you can feed - the kids love that. And they have pony rides. I usually do the package deal where they give you food, the pony ride, and a few other things for one price.

I have never felt it smelled while I was there - it was always pretty clean for a farm and I love the bird enclosure where you can feed them with sticks of seed. It's a lot of fun. The train is fun. The slides and bouncers are fun too but those are only there on certain days. You'd have to check it out ahead of time.

It's great! There is a ton of stuff to do. And it's huge - the place with the food and the tables isn't anywhere near the pens with the goats, etc. and doesn't smell at all.

White post is great. They do have food both right in the farm portion and also a separate place. I would skip the food in the farm and go tot he portion outside. They have salads, sandwichs, smoothies, soup, etc.

I was looking into going here in a few weeks.
Is it true they don't accept credit cards. That it's cash only?

Oh hell no. I'm not going in a bird enclosure. My son can go in w my friends while I cringe outside. I hate birds and had to beg this guy in Jamaica to let me out of the bird room while my husband laughed lo.

We live minutes away and go often. Heads up if you go on a weekday, the animals and birds are much more aggressive bc it's not as crowded and they aren't being fed as much by visitors. I could send you pics to prove it lol.

During the summer they have a cute parrot show that's included in admission.

Cash only (you know, so the owner can only report 1/4 of it lol)

The store next door has a great juice bar, salads, sandwiches, etc and tables to sit at. Healthier and less expensive than the stuff in the farm part.

Go to their website and sign up for email coupons. They send them out each week for those select days.

Oh, they also have standard admission or you can buy the package and get a bucket full of cones of food, a milk nursing bottle, pony ride and train ride tickets. Fyi if an adult goes on the train ride with your little one, they need a ticket too.

Bring quarters, they have cute ride ons that dd likes going on.

I really love this place...
But, yes, it has animals, so it smells a bit (DH family hate this).
If you are scared of animals... It's not a good place for you.
Agree that food outside is excellent.
