We wanted to take DD there tomorrow - we were planning on going close to when it opens. How long do you typically spend there? How much money do you typically spend? Would we spend another $20 beyond the admission? More? Less?

Depends on how old your DD is.

I would say 3 hours is long enough to see/feed the animals, ride the pony, ride the train and play in the playgrounds.

If your DD isn't old enough for the playgrounds you could do 2 hours.

We went for a birthday party a few weeks ago and were there for about 4 hours- but that included waiting for the party to start, having pizza and cake and all the activities above.

Does the $20 include the animal food?

I think the train is an extra $2, pony ride another $2. The bird area (if you want to go in- my DD was afraid of the birds getting too close) is extra too.

And any food you want to buy would be extra.

I was thinking the $20 would be for animal food. Not sure if she is interested in a pony ride...she might love it or it might scare her...

After admission, everything else is extra.
Train $2
Food for animals is extra
Milk for animals is Extra
Pony ride is extra
Bird landing is 2$ per stick of food or 3 for $5
( you can enter the bird landing without buying the sticks)
Go on their site and get coupons for admission.
Bring your own lunch/snacks. They have picnic tables
Also they only take cash!
