white pants/capris?

Should i pack these away - no more wearing them after labor day? I see some people still wearing them but, I don't want to be the one where people are wondering - why is she still wearing white The summer just went by too fast and i am not ready to part with them...

Hmmm, just read an article about how we no longer have to follow the "rule" about no white after labor day. But, I think that white pants, capris, and white shoes should be put away already. Only bc the weather is so crappy already, it's cold out, highs in the 60's. If it was still really warm out like other years I'd say wear them but given our temps, pack them away.

It's actually going to be 80 this weekend so don't pack anything away just yet.

And yes, the rule about no white after labor day is long gone.

Oh, really? The white after labor day rule is gone? That makes me happy. I dressed my daughter in white capris today and felt a little guilty thinking I was forcing her to violate fashion rules. But it was cute, weather appropriate, and she didn't really get much use out of it in the spring.

rule or no rule, i wouldnt wear white pants in september.

i think it just doesnt look right.

but thats my opinion and to each their own.
