While using AOL for mail, I saw someone else's mail for a minute!
I was on aol looking at my mail (been with aol for over 15 years). I was trying to access my old mail and I saw I had 150 saved mail messages. This was not accurate since I don't save mail regularly on that username. I saw multiple file folders with various names that I did not recognize. I was unable to access them, and then it was gone! That's not good. What the heck was that about and do I need to do something? I can only imagine that must mean someone one day somewhere can also see my mail? Have you ever heard of this?
eta- I am on my personal computer that no one else uses.

I've had AOL for like 15 years also and have never seen that. Was it a public computer at work?

I would get rid of your AOL account. It is so out of date, and they have security breaches all the time. I don't think they've updated in 15 years! At the very least, change your password asap.

getting rid of it for mail, that's a big step for me, so much saved on it!

Nope, home laptop that never even leaves the house and no one uses. So weird!!
