Which would you pick....
I'm trying to figure out what to do for spring break. I have two main options I'm trying to decide between. Option 1- exchange my timeshare for Villa Roma. It would be Sunday-Sunday, $200 for the week. I would only use the exchange if I can stay the whole week. My friend and her son are supposed to come, but can't come until Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. So that means I would be by myself with the kids for a few days. The upside is there is lots to do there and I know my kids would love it. Downside is being alone and not seeing DH for a week. Option 2- an exchange isn't available, but I can book a Getaway for $450 to Minerals Resort. It would be Friday-Friday. What I would try to do, is maybe go away for the weekend alone with DH, maybe even until Monday if he can take off. Then come home and go back with my kids and my friend on Tuesday night/Wednesday until Friday. The very upside is some alone time with DH. The downside is it's more money and possibly less time away for the money.

are you planning any other trips with DH this year? If so I'd probably do option 1. I don't know that I'd want to go home in the middle of the week only to go back to the resort again. But that's just me.

Yes definitely. DH and I just went away for a weekend for my bday last month. We will take a family trip to Florida in June, possibly a long weekend alone in Aruba, and then probably another family trip somewhere close in August. The resort that I may go back and forth from is only an hour and ten minutes from my house.
