Which Trader Joe's is better/less crowded the one on Merrick or Plainview? They are both the same distance from my house round or about. TIA!

I don't know about the Plainview one but avoid Merrick like the plague. AWFUL AWFUL parking lot.
If you can get to the Westbury one, go there, huge parking lot.

The one in Plainview is pretty terrible too. The parking lot is over crowded and the people are nuts. Go to the one in Westbury.

I think they are all badly crowded with bad parking lots, so I try to go early. I HATE the Merrick parking lot, so I tend to choose Plainview or Westbury over that one unless I am very close by.

All the ones in Westchester have bad parkinh lots too. WTH, Trader Joes?, WTH? 
Actually- the one closest to me is a the end of a shopping center & you can park on the side of TJ's, but to get to the section is a nightmare, which might be Marshalls' fault.

See, the parking on Merrick is bad but the store itself never seems that crowded. I think people just can't drive.

I prefer the Plainview one because the parking is better and I can run into a few different stores all in one trip. I don't mind parking farther away and walking.

I don't go often because I end up spending my whole paycheck, but have found key is to go late at night, maybe an hour before closing.
Merrick is the closest to me as well.

i never go to the merrick store. Comparing the plainview store to the westbury store...hands down westbury has more of a selection and better stocked...its a bigger store.

If you don't mind going a bit further Westbury is the best.
Otherwise with Plainview, use the exit that's along the fence (close to the end of Cosi) The main exit is always hard to get in and out of.

pretty sure they get new stock every morning. when i go at 8, 9am - shelves are fully stock, and there is no crowd. merrick.
