Which toy kitchen?

I'm between the Kifkraft Uptown or the Step 2 Lifestyle Dream.... any feedback? I like the look of the kidkraft but like the sounds and buttons for the step 2 kitchen... TIA!

Which toy kitchen?

Love our kidkraft uptown kitchen! For one, the storage space is great. It fits all the Melissa and doug sets like the cookie and cupcakes my girls love. It may not have add many bells and whistles but the detail it does have are nice sized and well laid out. We used to have a small plastic kitchen and dd didn't even realize what was what bc of the tiny stove, fridge etc. The kidkraft has room to actually cook and we always have room for her toy cash register on the shelf and her Keurig and mixer on the counter.

Which toy kitchen?

We have a Step 2 and my DD absolutely loves it. I personally like the light that turns on, stove makes bubbling noises etc.. I am not a big fan of only wood "imagination" toys but I know that many people are. Just my personal opinion.

We have the kidcraft (not sure the model) and dd1 (age 4) and dd2 (11 mos) both love love it. Its held up really well too. I'm a big fan of wood toys in general though.

Thank you al for the feedback... we're still not committed to one or the other, but glad to hear positive reviews for both models!!

Kidkraft! I much prefer wood toys and generally won't buy anything that lights up/makes noises. Better to be open ended and let kids use their imagination :)
