BFF lives in WI and we grew up together. I live in Oakdale. We have been friends for 25 years. West Islip is great IMO

Just moved to W.Islip and we love it. DH commutes to Manhattan on the Babylon train and he says the commute is good.

My cousins grew up in East Islip....it is a very nice town, good schools and my cousins both grew up to be lovely young ladies :)
I don't know much about W Islip.

I vote Islip, which is not on your list. I love having a town center with shops and restaurants within a short walk. I don't have and don't expect to have children so the schools are not a concern, but all my neighbors say they are excellent.

I love both towns.
I grew up in West Islip and loved it there
And I worked in East Islip for a long time and I loved it there too

I went to grade school in east islip and I lovedddd it. But summers in college I was in west islip hanging out on my days of from Fire Island.
I honestly don't think you could go wrong with either.

I grew up in East Islip. It was a GREAT place to grow up in. The schools were fantastic, there are a bunch of parks, easy access to sunrise/southern state, etc.
Loved it!
