Which stroller?
I'm really stressing this decision lol.
We are going to beaches Turks and Caicos and will bring a stroller. For airport plus that resort is huge. DD is 4 and DS is almost 2. Hoping DS will nap in stroller. DD still needs/uses one especially since she refuses to nap.
Which should I bring?
Maclaren double Pro: folds up, lightweight Cons: Not much room in basket, doesn't handle as well. Has to be used as a double. Won't work on sand
City select double with skateboard Pro: works on sand. Can use just 1 seat and skateboard. DD can sit or stand and still be contained. Big basket for beach bag and gear Cons: bigger, heavy and bulky
I feel like I will really want the city select while I'm there but not sure if it's too much of a hassle to gate check? I saw a bag online that it will fit in with both seats to check.

Which stroller?
have you been there before? theres steps to the beach so a stroller on the beach will be annoying anyway.
i would go with the lighter

Re: Which stroller?
When my kids were younger, I would travel with two small, single strollers. I would not be solo with the two kids. With that, I would tell you to bring the smaller one where both kids can sit.
Not sure about gate checking a large stroller. Things may have changed... but I thought that you had to check larger ones before going through security. Check with airline. I know American Airlines weighed my citimini single and ultimately allowed me to gateside check it... but they mentioned most full size strollers are over the weight limit. Just something to consider!

Re: Which stroller?
Take the double maclaren. Definitely not the city select. We took our double city mini.
We didn't take the stroller to the beach. It was really close to our room.

Re: Which stroller?
I took two maclaren singles to Beaches and it worked out well. If that isn't an option I'd go double maclaren.
