I think the first two are *slightly* babyish..the third I love, the fourth I like but might remove the "commonplace appearance" and just leave the second half of the quote. Dont care for the Tarzan one and I like the family one, but not for a little boys' room.

Lol Winnie The Pooh is his favorite book. We read a little every night! The Tarzan one my DH liked because we always say "It's all fun and games until someone get's hurt" which is usually DH or Myself. Thanks for the recommendations though!

In their entirety they are sort of morbid. I am sorry. I would not really want them on my kids wall. They all have similar messages of getting hurt or death. Sorry.

I think it might be perception. I see them as being a part of him growing up. To see a quote about being braver, stronger, and smarter to me means if I not with you let these words resound in your head and you can accomplish anything.

Honestly, I was thinking the same thing. They are too much about losing a parent/child or death or being separated in some way. Sorry.

 I read this thread to DH and he and I both chuckled at that one. I have come to believe the military seriously messed with our sense of humors, and perceptions of things because some of them do seem morbid, but for me they seem so hopeful, and some seem hysterically funny.
