which potty?
I think it's time to start potty training. What is a good potty to buy? How did you start training? I don't want to try the 3 day method.

I like the Baby Bjorn potty best. It has an integrated splash guard, which works pretty well.
As for which method- we used the 3 day method.

We have the Baby Bjorn potty but, my kids would rather sit on the real potty with a potty seat.

This. I would get the Baby Bjorn and a potty seat. The Baby Bjorn is good bc it has a back and their feet can touch the floor, but DD1 wanted to use the regular potty right away (she was 25 months when we trained her). DD2 started using the Bjorn potty before 17 months and refuses to go on the big one (she is only 18 months, so not fully trained yet). I would have both options available.

We had the frog potty (i think it fisher price) and after one time of me spilling poop/pee all over the floor trying to empty it, I switched immediately to the potty seat on the real potty and we've never looked back.
DS asks for the frog sometimes but i tell him it got a hole in it
