Which pack n play?
I am having a difficult time picking out a pack n play. My parents and in laws will be watching the baby during the week and they both have cribs...but we still need a pack n play for if we go somewhere else for the day. If anyone has any of these cribs and can give me feedback, I'd appreciate it! There are four that we are looking at...
1- Basic Pack n Play- No bells and whistles. Just a standard pack n play.
2- Travel Lite Pack n Play A crib that is much smaller than a standard pack n play. I really like this one, but I'm afraid that after 8 or 9 months, it is going to be useless. Also, DH thinks it's a little "girlie" for a boy.
3- Graco Playard with Napper This one I really like partly b/c it matches our carseat and high chair. I'm just concerned that it's going to be too bulky. Neither of us have SUVs, so I'm concerned that we will not have much room for all of the other baby stuff we need.
4- Baby Bjorn Travel Lite I love, love, love this one. My SIL has this one and really likes it. The problem is that it is really expensive. Over 200 dollars. I doubt anyone will buy it for us and I would feel bad since we probably won't get much use out of it anyway. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Which pack n play?
If you are just going to use it for when you are out visiting people and need a place for baby to sleep/play, I say go with the first one

Re: Which pack n play?
I don't really know which one I would choose, but just some advice from someone that just put together a pack and play. I didn't realize until after I put mine together that the changer and the bassinet on mine had pretty significant weight limits (changer was fine w/ 25 lbs, but the bassinet/sleeper part of it was 15 lbs!). I think the PNP I got will be great no matter what, but definitely look more into if those "bells and whistles" are worth paying for!

Re: Which pack n play?
I got the one with the napper and changing table and we have NEVER used either. DH didn't like the napper at all and wouldn't let her sleep in it and he won't let me leave the changing station on top while she's in there, so we took it off and just leave it off. Should've just gotten the basic model.

Re: Which pack n play?
I registered for the chicco lullaby playard - it looks a bit different than the other pack n plays. It even has a remote control for the sounds and vibrations, but it's def. pricey!

That's my feeling...that we will never use the changing table/napper. I kind of feel like it's a waste of money to get the upgrade when we probably won't use it. Thanks for your input! :)
