Which one is better?
Do I need to register for either of these? If so, is one better than the other?

I think the one on the left is better. I used a similiar one for Melanie and it worked great. I remember my nephew's car seat had one built in that was like the one on the right, and my SIL always complained about it.

here is my experience -
DD is a month old. my car seat (infant seat) came with a headrest but it was cheesy - didnt support the head properly. I put picture #2, headrest in the car seat instead and it has been great - it supports her and she is comfortable (falls alseep in it every time!) ....I also used one in her bouncy seat the first few weeks for extra suport. I have no experience with the one in pic #1 but #2 is great and only costs $10.99 at BRU. HTH!

we used #2 and its great, also when she gets bigger the inside one comes out.
