Which one???
For Ryans b-day I wanna get one of these...
Keep in mind, he will get limited use out of it- directly after his b-day (since he is a fall baby)-
So we will be mostly using it next spring... He will be 18months +
The 1st car is a "flinstone" like car (which from what I read is 18 months and up...)
The other is the kind I push- but doesnt have a seat belt- to keep him from climbing out... (at least the model in the store didnt) Image Attachment(s):

Re: Which one???
I say # 2 our friend still has one from her first daughter at her house and Jack loves to push behind it himself or be put in it and push around the house.

Re: Which one???
I have something similar to the 2nd one, and Julia loves it and its so easy for me to push her around with the handle. I vote #2.

Re: Which one???
I have #2 and Steven LOVES it. I do believe however that the floor comes out and then he could use it like the Flintstone car. From little tikes "Stage 2: When toddlers can use foot power, the floorboard is removed and an adult guides with the handle. Stage 3: The handle is removed when the toddlers can steer."

See I had Ryan in it the other day and he loved it too...
But it really isnt for now- its for like 6 months from now.. .and Im wonder if the other would be more appropriate for his age...

Re: Which one???
I like the look of #1 better but I can't imagine how hard it would be to pedal those things if they're made of metal. I don't think he's going to have the leg strength for a few years if that's the case, therefore I opted for #2

Its not a pedal one- its like the flinstone cars where there feet tough the bottom, and they walk- like walkers...

Re: Which one???
My fault Marissa I only copied from Stage 2. Little Tikes says it's for ages 1-3 yrs. Which will be perfect for Ryan & Steven next year but they can certainly enjoy it from now. Here is the whole description from Littlt Tikes:
"America’s favorite kid car goes high-tech with an electronic dashboard that makes five incredible car sounds! A retractable canopy helps keep little "drivers" cool as they tool around. Plus, a removable floorboard and adjustable four-position handle allow this sporty convertible ride on toy to grow along with your child from toddler to preschool. Stage 1: With the floorboard in place, an adult pushes the car with the handle. Stage 2: When toddlers can use foot power, the floorboard is removed and an adult guides with the handle. Stage 3: The handle is removed when the toddlers can steer. Inside features include a gearshift, clicking key, cup holder, and storage behind the seat. (Stuffed toys not included.) Body comes in a special gloss finish. Requires 2 "AAA" alkaline batteries (not included). OUR PRICE: $69.99 (U.S.) AGES: 1 - 3 years
