Which meds need to be refrigerated?

Sorry for all the questions recently but i have no clue what i am doing!

I am taking Lupron, Monopur, Follistim, Novarel, Progesterone,

I think the only one i put in the fridge was the Follistim - does that belong in the fridge? should i be refrigerating any of the others?

thank you so much!

I agree. Menopur and lupron can be room temperature. Progesterone in oil is at room temp, but the suppositories go in the fridge.

Re: Which meds need to be refrigerated?

I always refridgerated my lupron per the instructions from the pharmacy.

ETS: Once it's opened it should be refridgerated.

You know, I thought I remembered doing that. But I looked on-line and it said room temp. But I think I did put it in the fridge when it was opened.

oh ok - so maybe i'll put it in the fridge after my first shot? it only came with one vial, so i am assuming i keep sticking the needle into the same vial whenever i need a shot?

thank you so much everyone!

There are the insturctions nurse game me.

Lupron needs to be stored in the fridge once opened. I got one vial too. I am starting with 10 units per day for two weeks and then will lower the dose to 5 units for a few days. Nurse said one vial is enough for me.

Follistim needs to be put in the fridge. I didn't do it right away because i didn't know. I put them in fridge after two days, nurse said that's fine.

Menopur doesn't need to be put in fridge right away. I don't about whether you do it after opening. This is a question for the nurse at my next appointment.

Re: Which meds need to be refrigerated?

Actually, I keep the lupron on the fridge but it doesn't need to be in frig if you are going to use it up within 30 days of opening it. As long as the temp is 77 degrees or lower in your house. But, to play it safe I put mine in frig once opened.
