Which hospital
So I just googled my OB and it seems he may have privileges at NS manhasset. If he does, you bet your bottom dollar I am going there! If he doesn't, I know he does at NS Plainview and Winthrop, of those two, which would you choose? I am having a c-section, if that helps at all.

I was planning at delivering at LIJ plainview, but my OB actually talked me out of it. He said they are great as long as your delivery goes smoothly and there are no complications. If for any reason your baby requires any specialized care the baby will go to Manhasset and you stay at plainview.
I believe Winthrop can handle more complications should they arrise.

My sister had both of her girls at Winthrop and they are fabulous. I am delivering there also and feel great abkiut it. They have a state of the art NICU and I heard it is just about the best on LI.

Winthrop 100%!!! NS Manhasset, Stony Brook, & Winthrop are the best on LI for labor and delivery, and NICU. I delivered at Winthrop w/ DD and after that experience, I'll never go anywhere else (although would consider Manhasset if my docs switched, as I hear it's great too).
