Which gift would you prefer for you child?
Hello. I have a lot of 1st bday parties coming up, 3 yr , 5 yr parties, etc.
I prefer to give money because I think it is better than receiving a duplicate toy or clothes that don't fit. Also it is much easier for me, lol!
Yesterday we had a first bday and my dh was so upset we just had A card with money because he wanted to give a toy and money. There was a table with a million gift bags so i don't think a lot of people gave money.
As parents, which do you prefer toys or money?

I prefer money, but I'm very picky about the toys DS plays with. We usually give a few small books or a small toy and money, just so they have something to open.

Either but mostly because I've always used the TRU Wish List for my DD to avoid duplicates and toys that I know she won't like. It works out awesome, everyone LOVES it!

i LOVE money cause it can go into the kids savings......
I LOVE giftcards cause then I can go with the kid to pick out a gift.

How do people know about the wish list? Are there little cards like a baby registry?
