Which formula for EBF babies?
Thinking about mixing his cereal with formula instead of Bm so start save some BM. He was a very gassy baby in the beginning. any suggestions would be appreciated

Re: Which formula for EBF babies?
I always liked Enfamil Gentlease for DS (I will use the same for DD if I ever supplement). They also make a Target Up and Up version that is the same (purple can).
However, it's perfectly fine to mix with water if you don't want to use BM. I even mixed DS's cereal with juice to get him to eat more at times

I either mixed cereal with BM or water. There's really no need to use formula just for cereal.

Really, even though he's still under a year...I heard water was empty calories???????

I had samples of Enfamil Lipil Premium, its what I have been giving DS and he has no issues. Switches back and forth between bottle and breast with no issues.

It's totally fine for them to have a little water with cereal. DS started solids at 6 months. That's also when I started giving him water in a sippy cup, mainly for practice. There's nothing wrong with a little water for 6+ month infants whether it's in a cup or cereal.
