Which do you think is the best restaraunt for...
ribs? My brother wants ribs for his b-day dinner and we're trying to figure out a place to go. Nassau or Suffolk. TIA!

believe it or not the best ribs I ever had were at Ground Round!! But that was like 3 years ago!

Smokin Al's is good, but be prepared to wait. I have heard that Tennessee Jacks in Islip is good too

I don't like Famous Daves at all (for anything). It's just another chain restaurant, like going to Olive Garden for italian food.

TJ's is actually in Islip on Carleton Ave.
But I highly recommend them also.
Or Bobbique in Patchogue.
ETA: In Nassau 13A on Old Country Road has great ribs.

Try Famous Daves....They are near Target by Roosevelt field....They have the besssssstttt ribs.....It's a fun place for a birthday too

Food is good. Service is horrible. Too cramped! You feel you have to swallow your food so the next customer can eat.
Famous Dave's:
I love that place but you will wait 2+ hours to eat there after 6pm on weekends. We usually go by 5pm. Always had great service.
