Which diaper cream did you use on your newborn?
I have been putting the white petroleum jelly packets on his diaper like they did at the hospital but now I'm out and forget what I started with for Ryan. Aquapor directly on the butt? A&D??
I think I forgot a lot

We used the little packets from the hospital until we ran out (we swiped ALOT of them!  ) After we ran out, Aquafor at every diaper change and once DD started STTN, we put Triple Paste on at night.

I started out with A&D but his hiney still got red, so I switched to Desitin Multi-Purpose cream (clear) and that works the best for him. No more redness and I like the consistency of it, it spreads nice.

I have always used Eckerd brand A&D. I like the way it smells better than regular. Congrats Jessee!!! He is so adorable and Ryan is so freakin handsome

DH wasn't very mature so we had to use "Butt Paste".
DS didn't really have issues so we only used it when needed.
Now we use desitan creamy

We've used Balmex from the beginning. We tried just vaseline and then Desitin and with both she got red.

Boudreauxs Butt Paste at every diaper change and if DD got a rash we used Triple Paste and it cleared right up.

I used aquaphor when he was a NB - but unless he's really red - I don't use diaper cream. If I do, I use balmex

I used A&D sometimes and the ointment that the hospital gave us. I also started with Butt Paste, but didn't like it. I love Triple Paste.

DD only needs it once in awhile but we use California Baby diaper cream.
For everyday use, we use this California Baby diaper area wash for poop changes and for extra cleaning after her overnight diaper comes off:

When we ran out of what the hospital gave us we went to regular A&D in the diaper.
Stopped that when he was about 3 weeks old and went to Aquaphor on the butt. Realized he didn't need it every change. So I would only use it at night.
Now he gets nothing unless I see some redness. If that is the case he gets Desitin on the butt before bed.

I swear by Bourdreaux Butt Paste. It stains clothes- so you have to be extra careful.

We use Boudreauxs Butt Paste. DD had a severe diaper rash when she forst came home from the hospital and it was the only thing that worked.
