Which car?

Which car?

Options are.....

Acura TLX
Pros: great deal, easy transaction because we already have a different Acura (negates our last 2 payments and covers a dent we have). Has most features I want (no heated steering wheel- I know, first world problem)
Cons: small, tight fit with rear facing car seat

Mazda CX-5 (Grand Touring w/ premium package)
Pros: everything (fully loaded, roomy, AWD)
Cons: more expensive monthly, plus we have to cover our last payments and fix the dent, no android auto, which was a must have for DH.

The biggest pro to the Acura is that we are lazy and would love to just dump our car and drive off in the new one with minimal effort.

But, we like the Mazda more. We wanted a bigger car.

We were also considering a Passat until 10 minutes ago when DH informed me it had a manual passenger seat. I'm not flying through the damn windshield when I pull the lever.

This is our second car and will be used mostly for me to go back and forth to work.

Which car?

I have a TLX that I got after my CRV lease was up. Also easy transaction because it was all within Honda. It's also my week day driving to work car. I commute about an hour or so each way to Queens so I wanted something comfortable. I have a2017 TLX. I love driving it. I used to have an Accord and it's similar but with more pep and more comfortable. I got a better deal on the TLX than an Accord Touring when I was shopping last spring. I have 1 DS with a forward facing seat. If I have another DC, I agree it may be tough with the rear facing. But your DC won't be rear facing forever. Trunk is pretty roomy for a sedan. Only thing I don't like is the back seat room compared to the Accord. But again, I'm mostly transporting young kids to and from daycare in care seats. I rather have something that I like to drive. I was in my friend's CX5 recently in the backseat and thought it was a little tight back there compared to other vehicles in that class, like the Rav 4 or CRV. But I love my TLX.

I was positive someone would say this Chat Icon

We like the RDX but think it’s a little pricey for a second car.

Lol. That’s bc it’s an Acura (easy transition, dent, two months payment, etc) and it’s bigger lol.

I was actually surprised at how tight the back seat felt in the RDX. I said ugh now we’re gonna have to get an RDX and pay more and then I saw the inside and said “$100 more a month for THIS?!” Not worth the extra inch and the middle seat was weird and short.

Re: Which car?

Acura is a better brand. Mazda told me told my sister that. She gave up her tlx due to numerous issues and got a crv instead f a cx5
