Which Breast Pump?
I called the 3 companies that my insurance uses and found out which pumps are covered and i was hoping I could get some feedback! So if you've used or are using one of these, please let me know your thoughts! Thanks!
Ameda Purely Yours Laninsoh Affinity Pro Hygeia Q Rumble Tuff My First Years - Tomy Medela Personal Double Pump
ETA: I looked more into the pumps to get specifics.
The Medela is not the Advanced and the AMeda does not come with a bag.

Which Breast Pump?
I have the medela advanced personal Double pump - not sure if its the same but I highly recommend it. Medela pumps are great (In addition to mine, i have a spare from a friend that I used at work that is 10 years old and has lasted through 4 children).

I've heard that medela is the best. I have the freestyle and I really like it.

Re: Which Breast Pump?
I got the ameda through my insurance (the Medela was out of stock when I had DS) and I hate it. BF gave me her Medela Pump in Style and I like it soooooo much more and it's been used for her two sons. I like that it has the carry bag, plus, it just works better. I know I'm lucky to have two so I can leave one at work and the other home, but I so wish I could have gotten the medela. That said, I don't know anything about the specific model you mentioned.

Re: Which Breast Pump?
I also would go with Medela. I have the Medela Pump in Style, and while I hated pumping, when I did have to use it, it was great.
I would look on Amazon and YouTube for reviews of the Medela model you mentioned, as well as some of the others to see. But I don't think you can go wrong with Medela.
ETa, I've also heard good things about Hygeia.

Which Breast Pump?
Ameda is awful. I got that one free from insurance bc I had slim pickings. I would get medela as that's what I'm using now and it's great

Re: Which Breast Pump?
I have the Medela Advanced Personal Double. Works *almost* as good as the hospital grade pump, and I had to pump A LOT while DD was in the NICU.

Re: Which Breast Pump?
I read good things about Hygeia pumps--I think I am going to go with that one. I like that it is a closed system pump.
A lot of people like Medela but I've also read many articles/reviews where mold grows in the motor because it is an open system...this kinda skeeved me.

Re: Which Breast Pump?
I have the Ameda purely yours. I use a spare diaper bag I got for my shower to transport it when I need to bring it somewhere. I love it. I find it rarely needs replacement parts. I can typically get 4-6oz in 10 min or less.

Which Breast Pump?
I have not decided on a specific pump yet but I know I am going with a closed system pump-it reduces the risk of contamination of the pump and tubing by breast milk.

Re: Which Breast Pump?
I have the Ameda Purely Yours. I got it free through insurance. I didn't have an option of the Medea, so I got this one. It's worked pretty well for me, although I couldn't quite get the right flange size. That would probably be my main complaint. I do really like its small size. It's easy to transport and it fit inside one of my old Vera Bradley bags, so I use that to carry it around. It's pumped more than enough milk for me. I'm currently 9 months pp and still pumping.

Which Breast Pump?
I'm a Medela fan too. 'Had the PISA and the Swing. I breastfed and pumped for a long time so it was worth every penny for me.

Re: Which Breast Pump?
I got the Medela Double through insurance. I have a PISA also that I keep at school and use this one at home. It works great for me. I use it 1-2 times a day and never have any problem with suction, etc.
