Which bottle warmer do you like??

I think it's the Avent that we definitely don't want because it doesn't shut off by itself? I thought the First Years one looked pretty good too.

Can you share your favorite or are these just a waste? TIA!

Someone gave us the first years one and it worked well but it wasnt much quicker than boiling water on the stove. I agree about the avent, a friend had burned more than one bottle b/c she forgot it was on.

Re: Which bottle warmer do you like??

Hi! We have the First Years Night & Day bottle warmer (I think that is what its called). we love it because there is a cooler on the back that we've used even when bringing bottles out (its bulky, but a very good cooler).. I've even used it at night to store antibiotics by DD's room so if she needs a serving in the middle of the night, its handy and keeps cool..

Overall we like it. I have a pic, hopefully it comes through OK..

I forget which on e we had, but we wound up using Avent bottles and they wouldn't fit in the warmer. We wound up just returning it because it was never used. Some people swear by bottle warmers, but it just wasn't neccessary for us.

Re: Which bottle warmer do you like??

We had both avent and first years (Both from BRU)
I thought First years was actually quicker but Avent took up less room on the counter but I like auto shut off. We also had the Munchkin Car warmer (from Target) but we never really used it although my friend does all the time so I guess it depends!

I have the Avent and burn bottles all the time! In all honesty, at this point, I keep a pot of water on the stove - its just as fast.

I don't even bother with that. I run the water until it's hot and then fill a mug or bowl and put the bottle in there. DS doesn't need it hot, just room temp.

I have the First Years one (the one with the cooler) and I LOVED it!!! I would put 2 bottles in the cooler at night and then I avoided having to go to the kitchen when DD woke at night. The Avent bottles do fit in, but there is a ring on the top of the basked that holds the bottle that you just have to take off. It gives instructions on how to fit a wide neck bottle in the warmer.

Re: Which bottle warmer do you like??

I just bought the First Years bottle warmer and I really like it. You can fit Avent bottles in there and there's a a special ring adjustment for standard sized bottles as well. I found it took a little practice to get the temperature of the formula to exactly what I wanted (even with using the recommended amount of water in the instruction booklet) but I think I finally mastered it now lol. And it automatically shuts off which is nice. Oh, and you can put jars of baby food in there too when DC is ready.

I got just the standard one without the bottle cooler.

Re: Which bottle warmer do you like??

we used the First Years one in the beginning but she would cry to much waiting for it to heat up. so now we use the powder formula and make each one when she is ready. i used to make them all in the morning and then heat them but it really didnt work out. this way she is happy!!

I also have the First years night and day warmer and we LOVE it. We have a 2 story house and it was great for not having to go downstairs for middle of the night or early morning feedings.

This is what we did too, but only for bottles coming out of the fridge. All other bottles were made from bottled water that we kept a room temp - soooooo much easier, and definitely much easier when we are out and about.
