Whey Proten Powder?
Does anyone know if whey proten powders are safe? Any long-term effects? My DH works out so he makes these shakes after his workout. I tried doing a search online but couldn't come up with anything from a reputable source.
TIA!

Thanks for your response! I have them rarely but DH has at least one every day.
How do you make pancakes with them? Which brand do you use?

Totally safe (as far as I know) and necessary for muscle recovery when you strength train on a regular basis. I wouldn't worry about the safety. However, you can gain weight from them, so just be careful of your intake.

I work for a company that makes Whey Protein Powder (Body Fortress/MetRx).
They are not meal replacements. They should be consumed only according to label directions. You can use them long term but check with a DR if on medication.
