Where Would You Go?

I'm returning to work after a six month maternity leave at the end of February. Would like to do a family trip that same month with DH, DD who will be 2 1/2, and DS who will be 6 mos. I'd like somewhere warm, preferably won't break the bank, and we will avoid the break week. It will most likely be our only long real vacation for 2016 since I took so much time off from work so I'd really like to make it count. Where to go?

Re: Where Would You Go?

It depends on what kind of trip you would like.

Personally I would do Disney.

It will be reasonable if you don't have to go during the break. Kids under 3 are free at both the parks and buffets, so you only need tix for the adults. Also, if you do any buffets, they can just eat off of your plates. We went when my DS was about that age and that's what he did.

Your 2.5 yo will LOVE it and the six month old will be able to go on more than you might think.

Also, I wish I traveled more when DS was an infant. Most of them don't mind being carted wherever at that age. Now that he's 5 unless he is specifically interested in something it's a hard sell.Chat Icon
