Where to stay in Aruba...with RCI points.
So we bought a timeshare at Orange Lake. We own a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with full kitchen washer and dryer. We would like to stay somewhere similar. My sister inlaw has timeshare at the Aruba Beach Club..It looks nice, but maybe outdated. Also Not sure if it will have rooms big enough for me, my husband and 2 kids. I like it to be like a mini apartment. Anyway I am looking for a nice place to stay where we will be using our RCI points. Can anyone reccomend something like this?

The Playa Linda resort looks nice from the outside - it's right next to the Hyatt.
The Occidental looks nice as well but, it's an all inclusive so you may have to pay extra for the meal plan.
They are both in the high rise section.

We actually own a two bedroom at Orange Lake too. You're choices are kind of limited in Aruba. They have Divi resorts, which look nice but they are in the low rise. You would need to cab it to most restaurants. Occidental has ridiculous all inclusive fees. It would be cheaper to keep your week and book it on expedia/travelocity/etc Playa Linda and Aruba Beach only have studios, which I know wouldn't work for me, DH, and our two boys.

Playa Linda has studios, one bedrooms, and two bedrooms...we have stayed in all of them and we are staying in a two bedroom in January. The 2 bedroom we stayed in last time was a great size for the 4 of us and had a huge balcony...not sure if all are like that. We love the Playa Linda. It's a great location and has everything we need. We have stayed at the Hyatt too and although the Playa Linda is not as "fancy", we like it more. It has more of an open air feel.

I did a search for this year and it only showed the studio. Maybe more become available as people deposit their week.

That's weird. It shows studios, 1-bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, and townhomes right on their website. 2 bedrooms are harder to come by because there are less. We aren't booking through RCI though. We book directly through the playa linda or we rent from an owner so maybe that is why.

That's exactly why. I know they have bigger units, but only the studios come up as an exchange. At least right now.

Re: Where to stay in Aruba...with RCI points.
We would like to stay close to the Aruba Beach Club because thats where My sister in law and in laws are staying. I just cant stay in a Studio with my mil, Fil, and 2 children..it just will not work. And from what I see online Aruba beach club dont have 2 bedrooms. Is this considered the lo rise or Hi rise section? I have double the points to use, so I will have 194,000 points to use. This will be our first time in Aruba so I know nothing about it. My sister inlaw is insisting we saty at ABC but i really need my own room. Ahhh!!! I dont know what to do!!

There are a lot of Divi resorts you can stay at with RCI points.
