Where to get xmas pictures?
Can anyone recommend a place to get xmas pictures that they were pleased with. I'd love a photographer that does a mini session at a discounted price so we could pick a location. What about the big box stores?

We've used jcp twice and got some very cute pictures. You do have to wait about a week before you can pick anything up. Two years ago we had a session on black Friday and got all photos on a cd for $50 (plus the sitting fee, $15 I think). It was definitely worth it but of course they were very busy.

Where to get xmas pictures?
Another vote for JCP at southshore mall. Like others have said, they always have a groupon or other coupons available. DS is awful with taking pics but we always get SOMETHING we can use for cards and a couple of pics to hang up. The pics are usually ready a week later. I think they can mail them to you but I prefer to just pick them up and save any extra cost.

No, it takes about a week for the pics to come in. (At least in my experience with Target)

Jcp and target are actually the same company. Turn around time is a week to 2 weeks.

We've done Target for Easter and were very pleased. We did JC Penny at massapequa mall 2 years ago for Christmas and they were great! last year we did our christmas photos with Satin Sky Photo and she was great. We are doing them again this year with her. Her prices are pretty reasonable. You can check her out on FB.

Another vote for JCP. We did DD's xmas pics and her 1st bday pics with them. I was very satisfied with both.
