Where to find a nanny?
Does anyone know where I can find a nanny that is through an agency or that goes through background checks, has clearance etc? Trying to explore this route along with daycare

I’ve had good and bad experiences through Care.com AND using referenced nannies.

My friend found hers through her local facebook group. She posted about needing one and it was all timing. One mom was going back to work and she was looking for a family for her nanny and she raved about her. She met her and a few others (because she wanted to compare). She is part of the family now. At the kids birthday parties and everything.

my sister found hers at care.com. She has been with her family for many years.
ETA you can also try the FB group, Childcare on Long Island. I actually found my DD's daycare that way.

Where to find a nanny?
Not a nanny, but we found our sitter in the local moms group on FB. We all love her. It as definitely all about timing as it took us almost 9 months to find someone with posting 2-3 times a week.

We used Care.com when we found our nanny. But honestly? I'm much happier with my children in daycare.

Where to find a nanny?
I love our babysitter. I couldnt live without her! Found her luckily from a reference from a family friend. You can pay to have a background search on anyone independently.
