Where should you feel baby movements at 21 weeks?
I'm just wondering if I'm "carrying low" - or if there is such a thing.
I have a belly and it feels hard around my belly button, but all the baby movement I feel is VERY low - nowhere near where I feel the hardness. It's weird. It's just above my vaginal area more than the belly area.
Sorry to sound ignorant, but I would have thought it would be higher by now...
TIA!

I felt it in the same place - I started to feel higher movement at 24 weeks and even now I sometimes feel movement at the bottom (I'm 26w5d)

I'm almost 21 weeks too and I feel the movements very low like in my pelvis area. When the dr listens for a heartbeat that's where he's always checking too.

I feel movements very low like by my pantyline and occasionally even with my belly button but usually lower. I think it's normal? I'll be 21w tomorrow

Re: Where should you feel baby movements at 21 weeks?
I'm 25 weeks and that's still where I feel most of the movement. My doctor said it's because the baby is head down and it's legs are up high, as is my placenta. So my placenta is absorbing all of the kicks and what I'm actually feeling are the punches down low close to the baby's head.

Re: Where should you feel baby movements at 21 weeks?
I'm 20w5d and most of the movements I feel are way down low. Sometimes I'll feel them way off to the side about an inch below my belly button, but it's almost always by my bikini line.
I just had a sono today and the baby's head ways waaay down, almost under my pelvis, so when it stretches its arms by its head (as it does often, apparently!) I'll feel those punches down there. Or maybe it's just headbutting me all the time.

Re: Where should you feel baby movements at 21 weeks?
When I was feeling movements, a lot of them were VERY low down. Esp when I was around early 20 weeks. I was surprised at how low the movements were actually. but they did gradually move up... and even still I would have the occasional movement feeling right about my vag.
