Where should we put Xmas tree?

So DH and I are undecided where to put our Christmas tree. Ideally, I'd like it in front of the window, but rearranging our couches would really make the living room tight. Our other 2 options are the corner near the window, or next to the TV against a wall opposite our bay window. What do you think? Opinions please of what you thionk might be best and where you out your tree.

I always put ours in a corner. But if it can be in the corner near a window that's great because then it can probably be seen through the window -- which is pretty.

If you have a bay window and can rearrange stuff to fit it there, I would do that, so pretty

we have a high ranch and the 1st xmas here, we rearranged furniture so it would fit in a corner and you could see part of it from our big upstairs front window. but we get a real tree, and getting it back out of the house was a NIGHTMARE, and we found wasn't worth it. so now we put it downstairs in our tv room. we spend a lot of time in that room, so it's nice for us - but it's at the back of the house so you can't see it out of any windows. that makes me but well worth it getting it out of the house, it goes about 3 feet out the back sliding glass door into the backyard and makes our lives easier.
eta- so in the end, i am a fan with going with what makes your life easier, put it wherever is more practical - as long as you & your family will see it and enjoy it.
