where should I celebrate?
I have an opportunity to go away without child for 3 whole days!!!
The last time Dh and I were away just the 2 of us was our honeymoon - so I want to plan a fun trip.
It will be august...and hot - but I dont care...
where can we go...
some of my thoughts -
Miami (or other FLa locations)
New Orleans
Chicago (I have never been)
Vegas
So not creative - anyone have any fun ideas for me?

Have you been to Newport? It will be busy but by the water with all the boats, it's amazing.

I would vote for Chicago out of those choices. The others are quite hot in August.
What about Cape Cod? Maine? Or Newport, RI?

Vegas, Florida and New Orleans are going to be stifling in August.
Especially Vegas...it's like 110 degrees there.
I would do as MrsPowers said and go to Newport, Maine or Cape Cod - you could even do a weekend at Block Island or Martha's Vineyard. The water will make it so much more bearable and they are beautiful places to visit.

I'm with MrsPowers & Gerty. Go north - you can still have fun, but not suffocate with the heat!
