WE have two. Mine is in the bedroom/office room on the lower level. THat's my office spaceas well.
DH's is in the lower level family room, while we are waiting to complete the office room upstairs. However, the longer he takes to do that, that room might one day be a nursery instead

We have an office in one of our bedrooms with 2 desktop computers. We also have a laptop that we can use anywhere, but I prefer the desktop.

right now we have a 2 bedroom apartment so the 2nd bedroom is our office, where the computers are.
It is important that our future house has a basement so we can use it as an office.

Mine is by the entrance. My apartment is in an old building and I have an alcove with built in bookcases (best feature of the whole place...along with the railing and stairs in the LR!) and the computer is oppostie the bookcases in its own little nook.

I have a desktop in my 'office' and I have a wireless laptop that I use for online most of the time and bring it in which ever room I want to be in. Im in the BR right now, I love going out on the deck with it too.

Dh and I both have our own laptops ... mine is on the fritz right now (hence I am 'borrowing' DH's  ) but I love it because I can use it anywhere... currently I am in bed on DH's laptop, gotta love it

DH's is in the living room, we also have a tiny office room setting up a computer in there and then there's me and my laptop wherever we end up sometimes I think I spend way too much time online with a laptop
