where else (besides Macy's) can I get a nice dress?
I buy a dress like once every 3 years........need help.
Has to be a store I can go to, no time for online stores.

They usually have a 20% off coupon on their webite you can print out before you go.

believe it or not, Dress Barn has alot of nice dresses.
I always thought it was frumpy grandma clothes, but my friend got me hooked! tons of nice dresses, and they get new styles in weekly!

I never have any luck in LI dept stores, I feel like their isn't enough to choose from
go to Macy's, Bloomies, L&D, Saks, in the city.
The Bloomies in Soho has a unique selection, they have stuff other Bloomies don't.

What kind of dress?
For day dresses I like Modcloth, Anthropologie, and Hive & Honey (from Piperlime) I also hit up tons of boutiques.
I buy my evening dresses almost exclusively from Nordstrom, though edressme has a fabulous collection.

I second Dress Barn. I have found some nice inexpensive dresses that Ive worn to weddings there
