Where does your infant sleep when you go on vacation?
I've been wondering about this, since this is the first time we'll be away from home.
He'll be 5 months. He's never slept in our bed.
Weirdly, my DH and I will be sleeping in separate twin beds

In a pack n play - most hotels will provide them for you, plus clean sheets

We just went to the Caribbean with DD (she's almost 2) and she slept in a small crib provided by the hotel. I just brought our own sheets.

we always brought the PNP.
my dd sleeps in the pnp alot. One hotel provided a small pnp when she was about 4 months old and she was fine in it. Another hotel provided a crib which she hated, but i had my pnp with us so we got that out of the car a set that up and she was fine. We stayed at a hyatt and they also gave us a box of the johnson and johnson travel soaps

hotel crib or PnP..they replace the sheets for you when they make up the room!

So the consensus is the pnp. We are staying at my father's condo.
Do you make it more comfortable? I have no clue.

we brought the fisher price rock-n-play sleeper anytime we slept out which was often when DD was an infant...travels so nicely via car (not sure if you are flying?)

Pack and play... We bought an extra mattress for it. DS slept through the night for our entire first vacation we took with him!

Where did you get the mattress? Was it for a graco?
We are driving so we have enough room for all of his junk... err essentials

We got it in BRU right before he was born in Oct 2009..It is about 3 inches thick. They were near the changing table mattresses. We use it in out Graco PNP...
