Where do you shop?

I'll be 30, I look 20, don't have to wear pants or a suit to work, and HATE to take long to get ready in the am.

I've always shopped at Macy's and even Mandee but I feel like at a point I have to move on from Mandee even though everything still fits me (I'm a "s" or 0-4 in Jr. Section). I buy age appropiate clothing but I think I need to start buying better quality pieces.

I've been somewhat successful at Banana Republic outlets but it's hit or miss because I can only shop in the Petites section and even then I need a XS. Also, the outlets aren't close and I'd rather not buy from the store at full price. I've been in White House Black Market but had sticker shock

Anyone have any other suggestions on places to shop? Oh, Express is hit or miss too sometimes.

My favorites are Express, Victoria's Secret and Guess and will admit that at 30 I still love forever 21 for a quick cheap outfit

I am the same size/age as you, look younger than I am and I also hate paying $$$ for clothes, I used to shop at high end designer shops when I was younger & single and before I had my DD , but those days ended when I had my DD and became a SAHM (well VERY PTWM) Now the only designers I will spend $$$ on are jeans, shoes and handbags , bc I know I will wear them forever, but I do have a limit...
Anyway , honestly I have never shopped at Mandees (spl) and I really hate Macys but I like and shop at Forever 21 , H&M,Century 21, Marshalls... I find lots of nice and good quality outfits (sometimes designer brands, not that I care for labels really) shoes, handbags in these stores - mostly Marshalls and Cent21- and get so many compliments . I also shop at Gap but I wait for sales and use coupons. I can't shop at Banana republic much unless they have a great sale going on, mostly bc I have a hard time finding stuff that fits me there.
Usually few times a year I'll go to Soho and shop in stores there, everything is in one area and it's convenient for me.
I also love shopping at Bloomingdales and always find something cute at a great price, I just wait for their sales and sometimes use FF coupons (or whatever they are called.
Oh and I also like American Eagle outfitters and Urban outfitters, I just don't buy teenage stuff ,lol.
If I think of any other stores I'll post .

I LOVE White House Black Market, but always make sure to wait until things are on sale and I ALWAYS find coupon codes. I'm also a huge fan of Ann Taylor LOFT, Kohl's and Dress Barn. In fact, MOST of my stuff is from LOFT or Dress Barn.

I like H&M. I'm still young and can fit into those wonderful cheap and trendy Mandee's clothes, too, but there comes a point where it's almost awkward to go in there. H&M and NY&Co. are usually my go to stores. I find them to be pretty reasonable price/quality-wise.

I am about the same size as you and I usually shop for dress pants which are business casual at vs, express, and banana republic. Shirts, anything goes really but my favorite store for trendy and still age appropriate and easy on the wallet is Forever 21

I usually shop at the Gap, Banana Republic, and Loft. I buy things on sale and use coupons when I can to save money.

I will get black and some other colored pants for work at "Dots".

The store geared towards teens, but is usually filled with women over 30 (at least when I go there ).

Surprisingly, a lot of the pants have held up for me and fit well. Note: This is the ONLY item I really buy in there. The shirts to me seem cheaply made, as do the sweaters.

I'm also weird and don't really like to shop in malls much anymore. The nearest mall to me doesn't have much anyways IMO.

Once in awhile I will find stuff at NY&CO but it seems like their prices have increased a lot lately and I'm not a fan of many of their styles.

Ann Taylor Loft is great. I also still get things mail order though VS, but return half the stuff. Their quality/sizing varies. Sometimes i hit. I also get a lot on sale from White House Black Market. They mail me 20% off coupons all the time, and if you use your member card you always get an extra 5%

If you are looking for stuff for work, try Lands End. I know, some of the stuff is grandma, but they have cute dresses, sweaters, etc in petite sizes and with coupons CHEAP.

Like a PP said, American Eagle is good for jeans, t-shirts, etc...just nothing too teenager looking.
H&M if you have patience is great for someone your size. I find their clothes run small.
If you can get to Soho check out Top Shop and Uniqlo. Uniqlo's quality is so much better than old navy and the prices are the same.

I have a lot of friends who swear by Kohls and find things at Target. Ive never shopped for clothes at either but am willing to give it a try.

And like another PP said, Marshalls and TJ Maxx always have great finds, but it will always be a hit or miss situation depending on the day you go.

Hate: Old Navy -- their sizing is all over the map, and items usually only last one wear for me. Once you put it through the wash its a wrap. NY and CO for someone your size is not going to work. Their stuff runs HUGE. Also not a huge fan of their style, fabrics, and patterns.

Funny you wrote this cause I was thinking the same thing the other day when I was walking into forever 21 lol.

I will go to the clearance rack at Anthropologie, I rarely find much in RV, but I have hit big at the one in the city

I love Marshalls!! Most of my wardrobe is from Express. I also like the Gap and NY&Co. NY&Co can be tricky b/c they run pretty much like express- really big.

I actually LOVE Marshall's too and find many great deals on designer items. You have to go a few times because it's hit or miss but can definitely score! They also sell Free People clothing which is my absolute favorite designer - my next suggestion for you but they are a little pricey.

I love Lord & Taylor, BCBG Section, Free People, Guess, Betsey Johnson - they have good sales and coupons, just keep your eyes open.

My outfit today is Banana and Loft - skinny cargos that roll up at the bottom (Banana) and a cute cotton blousey shirt (LOFT).

I love Ann Taylor (esp the outlets), H&M, Forever 21 (I'm 34, so what!!), Gap (though the one by me is really small), and Banana Republic. Old Navy for some casual stuff.

Kohl's has Rock & Republic jeans now! Their ELLE, Lauren Conrad and Apt 9 labels always carry really cute stuff, and you can always get a deal with coupons.
